Aurora is a video installation inspired by an unusual snowstorm in Buenos Aires in 2007. Two synchronized projections of a blurred self-portrait in motion reveal subtle facial movements. In between the two projections, four small speakers narrate a short story that took place during the storm.
Additionally, in between the two projections and the four speakers, fake snowflakes occasionally fall from the celling. Integrated to the gallery's architecture a fake snowmaking device randomly generates plastic particles resembling snowflakes that build up in the floor.
